My Little Love Note came about when I was asked if I would write a friend’s wedding vows. Of course, I could, if the couple were willing to spend a little time with me to get to know them. It did not take long to deliver the vows that came from their hearts through my words. Success.
I have always been a romantic at heart. When I was a little girl, my Grandma Amelia told me a romantic story of how my Aunt Anna and Uncle Tony met and married. Aunt Anna was my grandmother’s younger sister, and my grandmother wanted her sister to marry. She authored letters to my Uncle Tony and signed them with her sister’s name. Her writing was eloquent and full of romance. Uncle Tony soon fell in love with my aunt, and they were married.
After 32 years of marriage, my husband Chip still surprises me. He thinks he is a terrible romantic, but it isn’t so. He is kind and thoughtful and often the muse for my writings, either here or on my sister site, Pasta on the Floor.
When did I know I would marry my husband? I knew it on our first date when he took my hand to cross the street. Let me capture your feelings and stories to create the finest vows, speeches, or love letters.
